Religious Education Program

 

OLV provides a catechesis in the Roman Catholic Tradition for all Children.

Religious Education Program meets on Wednesday evenings in our school from 6:00-7:30pm. The program is designed for children in grades 1-8 who attend public school. Religion classes are taught by well-prepared catechists who prepare their children to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. Religious Education News and Information

 

Please register your child/children for REP (Religious Education Program) as soon as possible. Forms and schedules are available in the REP office, and at the rectory.          Early registration is necessary for planning purposes. The program begins again on September 5th 2012.

 

Please pray for all graduates, both our little ones, and our 8th graders. May God bless them, and encourage them. Congratulations to all!

 

I ask that you come to Mass over the summer. God is never on vacation!

 

If you would like to volunteer for REP, Children's Liturgy of the Word, or OLV for Me please let me know. You must have Virtus Training to work with our children. This can be provided for you. Being an aide or a catechist can be very rewarding. REP meets on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30. It is offered for children in grades 1-8 to teach them religion and prepare them for the sacraments. Children's Liturgy of the Word is for all children in grades 1-8. It takes place during the 9:30 Mass on Sunday's. OLV for Me takes place during the 9:30 Mass on Sunday's while parents attend Mass. It is for 3-5 year old's. All of these programs are important, and your help is appreciated.
